On behalf of our Greek client, we are looking for a Romanian – speaking Field Engineer – Wind Turbine Installations.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

§  Review and comment on the EPC for the balance of plant (including costs, structure, liquidation damages provisions, risks, terms and conditions with relevant reference to other projects in the same market)

§  Verify and approve the components of the WTGs at the ex-works

§  Oversee and coordinate the works and suppliers

§  Inspection of WTG components at harbor

§  Verify works and approve completion of milestones as relevant

§  Discuss and troubleshoot minor issues with suppliers and contractors

§  Monitor that health & safety regulations are adhered to

§  Coordinate with the back-office in regards to deliveries, alterations etc

§  Coordinate with Lenders’ Technical Advisor, if required

§  Notify promptly of important issues that may materially impact costs, timelines or future performance of the project

§  Draft weekly updates and brief monthly reports on the progress of the works, issues and risks and any other relevant considerations

§  Oversee and coordinate testing

§  Discuss and troubleshoot any adjustments

§  Coordinate relevant certification

§  Ensure punchlist items are completed

§  Verify key systems (SCADA, security etc)

§  Notify promptly of important issues

§  Draft a brief final report on the construction

 

The Ideal Candidate’s Profile:

 

§  M.Sc. / B.Sc. degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent

§  At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position

§  Experience in Wind Turbine Generator components

§  Fluent in English & Romanian, knowledge of Greek language is a plus
