We are looking for a Territory Sales Engineer for Greece, Cyprus & Israel.
Our client is an International Company specialising in industrial air compressor products and solutions.
The Territory Sales Engineer will be joining the technical sales department for remote compressed air, nitrogen, power and steam solutions for construction customers.
The ideal candidate will have engineering academic background and sales engineering experience in the construction sales channels.
Position Mission
To have full control of the sales activities in his/her sub-Region, in pursuit of specific targets given by the Regional Business Line Manager.
To sell technical products (air compressors, generators, light towers, pumps and construction tools) and achieve the Company’s annual projection targets for sales, turnover , profitability and market share in the range of products under responsibility.
Support management team with the development and implementation of territory management and marketing actions.
Development of the Company's brand and follow-up of the branding policy.
Customer satisfaction development.
Maintain a close relationship with the Regional Team to coordinate customer strategies.
Manage and instruct on Safe Working Procedures & Environment.
Manage and protect the Company’s assets.
Plan marketing activities with the view to maximize sales performance.
Responsibilities and objectives
Responsible for the market share evolution for the products, all 5 pillars (air, power, light, water and tools) within the assigned territory.
Plan and prioritize daily personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact, towards achieving agreed business aims, including cost and sales – especially managing personal time and productivity
Work in a proactive way to achieve profitable growth targets with high focus on sales, growing market share including customer share and consolidated profitability i.e. to ensure that the related sales targets will be met in terms of unit sales, volume and revenue generation
Realize, directly or in cooperation with others the whole sales cycle necessary to obtain the orders/purchase contract (identify opportunity, prepare offers, present proposal, negotiate and close the deal);
Territory management and dealer network development and support, assist and assisted by the Regional Business Line Manager.
Implement the dealer actions / marketing campaigns and business follow-up agreed with the Regional Business Line Manager, keep score and report back any success / failure
Increase the market share in the assigned region and track the market share (orders won/lost) within the territory.
Work / Plan sales activities in a cost-effective way.
Establish, develop and maintain customer and dealers’ satisfaction and loyalty, through visits, telephone calls and correspondence including Key Customer Management.
Consult with direct management proposal details as pricing, type of product, warranty
Continuously monitor the market and competition - gather, evaluate and analyse information about the market;
Share information about new potential business with management;
Follow commercial factory trainings in the product companies and participate in seminars, exhibitions and contribute to other marketing activities;
Identify and listing potential customers or dealers by product segment
Create a sales action plan and report status on a regular basis
Provide monthly report to Regional Business Line Manager
Experience requirements
4-5 years in B2B sales engineering related roles
Specific commercial experience in the Construction or Mining or related fields will be highly appreciated
Commercial and organizational experience
Knowledge
Excellent command of Greek language and English is necessary.
Any other language of neighbour countries considered as a plus
Good computer and presentation skills
Good communication skills with the ability to make technical presentations
Clean driving license
Educational requirements
Degree in engineering preferably Mechanical, Electrical or Economical
Education focused on Sales and Marketing is a plus.
